Nature hides

I started the process of photographing patterns in nature about two years ago. Soon after, I found Heraclitus’ words, “Nature loves to hide.” Around the same time, I discovered the book “Patterns in Nature” by Peter Stevens that illustrates the aesthetic and scientific aspects of patterns such as explosions, spirals, branches, and meanders found in nature. If Heraclitus is right and nature does conceal itself, then I am also interested in understanding the formation of such patterns and entanglements. My future goal is to study them through the lens of mathematics and understand what happens in each photograph beyond their physical appearance.
