dragonfly, saturn

This juxtaposition is a visual representation of a memory. It is a memory of an afternoon when I observed the wings of a dragonfly through the microscope, and right after went to the Ladd Observatory, in Providence RI, and looked through the telescope for the first time and saw Saturn. I digitally created the juxtaposition with a photograph I took with the microscope and a found photograph of Saturn. I used the Van Dyke brown photographic process on Kitakata paper.
